Thinks have to be just right. The right reasons, right time and if either person already has kids the kids actually have to get along.
When I met Val she had 2 girls and I have 1. We have been together over 12 years now. Got engaged 11 years ago. Managed to get 2 girls married off. 3 rd one living with a boyfriend.
We finally got married Feb 12 th this year.
All is great quad , camp , hunt , vacation always doing things together.

Just need to wait for the right person.

You need to find a girl that will let you go quading, sledding, beer, bars concerts and anything else you want to do. I have never said no to my boyfriend for going out and doing whatever the difference is, we always go together, unless I am working. Y'all need to find girls that share the same interests as you so when you wanna go out and do these things she wants to go to! Good luck though lol

this is all good but she also needs to realize that sometimes its just the guys... I've had the girl that loves sledding, quading, fishing, etc... But she figured she always had to go when i went. before i knew it I wasnt getting invited cuz the boyz wanted to have a boyz trip. Not a boyz and mikes gf trip. that sucked!!! KTTC

That's kind of a tough spot, if the girl isn't much into it and doesn't like to push herself it can be annoying and a trip with guys is nice and being able to go into some good places. I even had it when I was new didn't get invited one trip along with one guys wife didn't go, as they wanted to ride hard and I had only been to the mountains once. I didn't care, and now really understand why. One guys wife doesn't like to go into much and it's fine most of the time, but once in a while you need a trip without it. She's fine with it so it's cool. But for any girls wondering, it's not because your a girl, it's the riding ability. If they can keep up I would be glad to have them on any trip.

Back in the 70's me & my GF moved in {shacked-up} & I got her knocked up {pregnant}
The thing back then was living together single & baby was commonly referred to as being taboo. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!
So partly for that reason I married her {said I do} . Lasted but a few years.

Been married twice since {said I do x2}.
They both died.
First wife died eating a poison mushroom.
Second wife died of a broken neck...as >>>>>>>she wouldn't eat the mushroom.

Sorry for such doom and gloom in such a romantic thread but there are some things that need to be known.

He can go by himself when ever he wants but I want to be invited the majority of the time and he is ok with that as am I. If he's gone I will just work or hang out with my girlfriends who don't like to do any of those things lol. I don't think it will ever be an issue with us and if the guys dont invite him then we will just go the two of us. We've gone on quite a few sledding trips just us two and have had a blast.
