I was just following in Bogger's footprints. He was the master mind behind "hun runs" back in the day. Like everything else in life there is constant change.

Another reason for being on S&M daily, was for the news. Not so much anymore but back in the day you could find all the important stuff right here.

This is a great thread, we need some of these to help with the crazy ones. I started this site when the ASA was going to remove there's. And there was a good need for both snowmobiling and quadding information as the ASA site died down in the summer and had a lot of spam on it. There was a site called valemountsledtalk which had the same problems. So I came up with the idea, told a few and discussed it with Barry who was here in Edmonton at the time, and he thought it would be great. Back in those days I was sledding mostly in valemount and always staying at Summit River Lodge with Connie and Bill. I always posted my ride from the day. And many of you found annoying cards on your drivers side windows, as when getting back or before we left I would get every vehicle in the parking lot.
Over the years this has become an important part of my life, I have met the majority of my friends on here, and still meet many more. And enjoy everything from the snowmobile show to the quad event. Without the other people involved this would not be what it is today. The other site administrators and the moderators. This has been a journey for over 10 years now, thanks everyone.

Stumbled upon it looking for riding areas and conditions and stayed for that and the info and some of the camaraderie. Now mostly for the conditions as nowhere has better conditions updates for western Canada. It's a shame the tech and camaraderie are dying off but I've met some cool people and riding buddies from it.

I came on here looking for places to ride and and the site didn't disappoint!Tons of excellent info on everything.Its disappointing that tons of info is lost on FB everyday and Google has no access to it,FB must be destroyed unless you want your grandmas muffin recipes!

I came on here because it always popped up when i was looking for sledding and riding info. Now i come on here cause i met lots of nice/good people on here. Some of the guys i met on here i call friends now and for me thats worth it. Some days after reading the stupid 850 thread and i think that i am done with s&m but then i see something that makes me laugh or when i can offer to help then it keeps me interested. And i stay so Arff can get me to weld stuff and keep my beer supply up!

I started coming to the site to look for people to ride with. As non of my friends sled. Or like winter.
Everyone I ride with today I've met off snow and mud.
I'm a member of two snowmobile clubs. I don't get to any of the meetings. And therefore I struggle with meeting people to ride with from clubs. Snow and mud is great for that.

It is also a good place for info. And opinions. Lots of opinions.

And lately I've been enjoying the humorous pictures thread. If I post half of what's on there in facebook people get upset and offended. Block and report. I mean come on its a joke.
But on here it seems like everyone has the same sense of humor. Which is great.

Now with having a side x side I've wondered into the Mudd Pitt chat and have met some good guys to ride with there as well.
