That when i ride up to the pumps to put gas in my sled.I get asked to remove my helmet before they turn the pump on.But a muslim lady wearing a burka has no problem getting the pump turned on.

Im offended you masked people come walking up behind me in the night, someone gonna get knocked the fawk down one day....
not saying you wear a birka but I will tell ya whats fawking bullchit is wearing that turbin in the RCMP thats offensive to me,, its a uniform wear it or get another job,,,,
its the radical muslims that ruin it for the normal ones I guess....
but if I grew up in 3 generations of hate and war, and all women being covered up so I cant even look,, everyone yelling all the time,, having to pray 6 times a day I would be a bit fawked in the head to I guess??

i guess i explained that wrong. 2 different scenarios there really. the french were at war with the english in this country. the english won. USUALLY the victor sets all the rules and everyone conforms to their laws and languages. BUT in this case, the english allowed the french to keep their laws and maintain their language. settlers are a completely different situation. this country relied heavily on immigration of europeans(mostly) when it was young. the differnce being, that they CONFORMED to our ways(english), our laws. they did keep their heritage and SOME customs, but only as long as they didn't conflict with the laws and customs of this country. they learned the language, the laws and the customs, and went with the flow for the most partAre you 100% british descendant?.... Not that it's never happened... but its not an absolute
And before Canada was a country, thats what it was.. military occupation of a certain piece of land... When Canada formed the english/french populations werent as skewed as they are today... and i would argue that the numbers were probably much closer to 50-50 (french decent-english decent)
If the country's founding fathers could get along with less hostility, why is it so hard today.... beneath it all, we are all canadian... end of the line
