Don't know about their burgers but Mountain steak and pizza in Whitecourt and Edson, I used to drive out of my way for their steak sandwich.

There are some great burger places mentioned and I think Peters is right up there but for me the ultimate is a place called Cheeseburger in Paradise. The only down side is it is in Maui so little harder to get to...:d

Didnt Pete's get shut down a few years ago by the health board because a bunch of people got sick or died from their burgers and shakes???

Cheeseburger in paradise was good but cool cats just down the street was better.I did them both a couple of weeks ago when i was in maui and cool cats burger was the biggest i have seen.He said hes only seen 9 people finnish it; now he has seen 10 LOL!!

My hometown of Windsor has a place called Bubis' best burger I have ever had. Comes in 1/3lb 2/3lb 1lb 2lb 4lb and 8lb burgers and thats after they have been cooked. They put this amazing homemade garlic sauce on them (no 'secert' sauce aka thousand island dressing) and they are open til 4 in the morning
