Depends perhaps on your dish of choice. I've eaten beaver tail before. Pretty fatty, grisly and had an odd flavour.
Shoulda made her shower then covered it in fries gravy and cheese curds

I think I will try out the Burger Baron Poutine tomorrow. Their Tweets after Hicks on Six reviewed their burgers was hilarious.

hahahaha that's hilarious! love me some burger baron

I unloaded a dead Western Star behind the dealership late one night in the west end of Edmonton, cold and blowing snow, I was hungry and just down the alley was a burger baron. I parked in the alley and walked over just in time to see the guy locking the doors as I walked around the front. fawk. turned on my heel to walk back to the KW and buddy inside spotted me...Lebanese dude maybe? anyways he slides open the drive thru window and asks if I wanted some grub, I said yeah but saw you were closing...he says "if you're hungry brother, I'll feed ya. come on in."

he opened up, and cooked me up some fried chicken. sat and BS'ed with me the whole time, must have kept him there an hour or so past his closing. turns out his brother owned the Sammy's Drive Thru in Grimshaw. small world, Sammy was a cool guy and had recently sold his restaurant and moved to the city. after I finished and went to pay, he said "no charge, you're a good ****."

went to the truck and grabbed him a few hats, pens, and a card. good guy, made me a fan of his burger joint

What a great story! Grew up in Leduc about a block away from the Burger Baron. Favourites were the mushroom burger and double pomo (had a slice of pineapple in there). The owner had a Lambo Countach at some point. One of originals with the six weber carbs. Knew another fellow later who had one and told me he had to use vacuum gauges every day before he took it out to get that thing running smooth but once he got it, it was a thing of beauty. Wow. Went sideways with my own post... Anyways good guys who apparently don't care for Mr. Hicks. HA
