Ignoring completely everything else in this thread, there might actually be a good concept here for a new class of racing. Instead of a cross country race, imagine a 'backcountry race' involving a marked run through trees, meadows, hill climbs, jumps, and drops... Hmmmmm......

Not gonna lie I did have a similar idea for this, but instead of a marked run their could be an ending zone on a GPS so pick your path kind of thing just everyone end at the same place.

I can see that. If it never leaves the yard except to race across a lake at the same elevation why would you need jets for 8000' if it never leaves 3000'. That would be a waste of money!

We had a race called the 150 we would race down small lakes threw the bush than down the power line it was fun ,but very hard on sleds well mine anyways.

Actually its jetted for 8000 ft no need to change them for a 660 ft race. That would be a waste of time.

Wow that Wedge is a magical machine. Runs just as good at 3000' as it does at 8000' with no altitude compensator.
I guess all the other sled manufacturer's wasted their money putting altitude compensator's in their machines.
