Who has purposely cut their DS2 ski's outside edge?

I've seen and heard a few guys talking about cutting the outside edge of the ski to reduce counter steering drag. got pics?

The "Carl's Cut" is a thing of the past I think, today's chassis with narrow ski stance etc are a way different machine than the old iron.

Internet search comes up with some pictures.
DS2's are still quite wide at the mid section and back so on certain machines it would help.

Edit: I was thinking of the DS model ski being quite wide. The DS2 is narrower

Googled those... My son rode on similar ones that were cut like that, only because he gouged the back edge, so he did carl's cut, and he said it seemed to make a difference.... I never did ride it when he cut them, so i can't comment

Depends on the skis it's done to



And yes the ds2 suck to back up and dig in right away compared to the pilot 6.9 skis, and would be worse with the cut done

minimal reverse. Might try grippers to see if theres a difference.
