Well maybe you should go on the skidoo websitre and see the first one for yourself it's a 650cc twostroke!!!! Doo also has to doo something to keep up with the M1000's...

Heard from a dealer that doo may have something bigger than an 800 for the XP next year but no expexted info releases until late February.

The 08's have been pretty good so far... I havn't heard of much that can climb with an xp800 stock that is, except the M1000.... But yes there is supposed to be a 950cc 2stroke coming in the xp chasis for next year.. But it may only be a snow check option, to see what the demand is for them... And the snowcheck stuff will start at the beginning of march...

I dont know who you have been talking to cause we are doing up alot of them and the ones that have gone thru our shop havnt seemed to have had any issues.. Even my bosses turbo xp doesn't eat belts and it's pushin 225hp.. Go figure, we puit a screen kit on it so that it gets rid of underhood heat.. We are selling so many of the screen kits that we cant keep them in stock, and the guys that build them for us cant build them fast enough... Oh yah i see that you ride a polaris so it must just be kinda a jealous thing seeing how bad the 800 polaris sucks,,, and the motors blow up lots in the dragon 800.... they seem to be a real turd and i hear they handle like a turd too... I guess it's a good thing that honda has supposedly now bought polaris snowmobile division... Now they might be able to build a good sled agian..

I think that for next year you will see a few things changer.. Like how the sec clutch is set up, and a few small things like that.. They will also come with better venting under the hood for next year.. That is the main issue with belts, and some people are over revving a bit, which is a simple fix,add a gram of weight per arm and that'll bring rpm down by abouit 200rpm per gram(in each arm).. Other than that i think they are tougher than the rev before them..

The frame in the xp is stronger than the old rev's.. And we have a nytro in the shop that hit a rock with the front of the rear suspension and it bent the susp and tunnel. It also bent alot of other stuff...

I had started a post "Puddle of gas and oil" I was lake running on New Years eve and sled started sputtering, limped it back to shop and checked on it a few hrs later and was a Puddle of gas and oil under it. Just got back to it today and started tearing it down, Exhaust pipe was full of gas so pulled off the head and everything there looked OK, pulled off the carbs and slides were ok, pulled off jugs and crankcase was also full of gas but no damage that is visable. That's as far as I got today. Does this sound familiar to anyone...Help!!

check to see if your floats in your carb's are stuck down or mayby bad reeds,mayby a dead spark plug,or try those crank case oil lines one mayby pooched, just idea's on what could be wrong!

i got a ski-doo safari le my brother blew one of the rings in her and i also got a polaris indy trail deluxe that we rolled like 5 times and took the hood off.. and my dad blew her up.. and i need to re build the carb on my 79 john deer.. but my 800 le polaris is up and running.. just had the hood changed last week

3 broken sleds mine 01 summit dont know whats wrong its in the shop, a 94 vmax 500 no spark think its the cdi cant find one used to try, and my g/f 92 polaris 440 needed a rebuild guy that was staying at my place thought hed help by tearing out the motor and splitting the crank, he didnt help so now im waiting on a complete motor should be here begining of the week. but it dont matter too much i got a busted leg and im in crutches.
