Rode whitcourt to swanhills and back on my turbo short track today. Trails were still wicked. But the temps are rising. Another couple days she will be done. Sad winter is done locally. I rode 300 miles Friday and satuday trying to get some !!

conditions are great! Trails are mostly groomed and good snow. Some drifting in the cutblocks.

Anyways question for the local boys, Carson lake, can you sled on it? or just up to it?
We rode up to it, 90% of the tracks turned around, so we did too, I told the two fellas i was with its provincial park so we probably shouldn't go on it, however there where a few tracks,
So curious to know can we ride on it? or did we do the right thing and not ride on it?

You can ride on it, all the good riding is on the other side, off the trail

We neve got much,got about 3-4'' of wet snow conditions are darn good for sledding.

You can ride on it but you are not allowed off it in the park. Access is up the sled trail only.

Just found out this morning that some idiots with atvs went from the airport to the summit cabin yesterday and wrecked the trail.

Quick puncture in the sidewall of a tire on any ATV on snowmobile trail is a good cure....

Sad part is a sleder has video of these guys but dident do anything about it. Now as of the video it was a tracked atv geting pulled out by a wheeled atv so that tells u what kind of damage would have been done and definitely not by the tracked one that was dead. Now that being said i am not makeing excuses for this as atvs should not be on a groomed trail but a atv on tracks is not going to do damage to a groomed trail only a wheeled one will

Where does a guy stage at by Whitecourt to get access to pipeline type riding? And how is the snow? I’ve never been out that way. Thanks in advance
