I have just moved to Whitecourt and we really want to find a place to camp and quad from. We have been do some driving around Whitecourt and I haven't had much luck finding a spot to camp and quad from. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ya youll have to set up in the bush to do that, just past the river on the windfall road is a nice spot to set up a camp and quad out of, I usually go there a few times a summer

Sagitawah is ATV friendly and is right in town. I have buddies that go there and say they can hit the trails right from the camp sie.

Thanks,

we drove 18km down the Groat Creek road last night wasn't to much for trails or camping spots. I think I will tour around the Windfall area sometime this week.

Are there any other good trails close to Whitecourt?

There is trails all over the place around here but your not aloud to leave from town on a quad after March 31st, to go riding to the west you have to at least travel past the rivers as there is no crossings for quads. To the east there is lots of trails as well. Flats road is always a nice close place to unload as well. I ususally ride around the eagle river area or windfall area. Just past the eagle river staging area on the right is a little clearing and a good spot to unload. Lots of trails right from there going north and west
