Where does the "white" go when the snow melts?

The white is how our eyes perceive it, the opaque. Because of reflections and different molecules reflecting light. Everything revolves around light. Hence why colors are perceived brighter or lighter based on the amount of light, natural light as in the sun. The white isn't an illusion it is their but it their because of how our eyes take in that light and what are mind perceives it. It may just be a theory we'll never know. Same as, why is the sky blue? Deep right? Deep like how snow should be .
