How much riding experience does he have?
How tall & heavy is he?

If he's an experienced rider or heavy, he might grow out of a 600 quickly. Any of the fuel injected sleds are a good option and newer chassis sleds are a lot easier to handle than the older sleds.
If you're interested, we have a 2010 Summit E-tec 600 with S-36 front suspension kit that we were just talking about selling.

I have a clean 2013summit sp154 e start, reverse 5000 km that I'll let go for $4000 snow and mud price.

haha - I still defend my old '07 all the time. Can't argue with your updated comment - I know there were lots that had crank bearing problems.
The 07's were a mixed bag. The ones that went usually went within 300-400kms from new. There are lots out there that are still going. The problem was a bad job of machining clearances in the cases by Rotax. That being said paying $5000 for an 07' is ludicrous.

I think I’m gonna stay with an 800 his size and experience I think he’s better on an 800. Thanks for the offer on the 2013 but there’s another guy on here that has a 2012 with 1900 km I think I’m gonna look at that one. Thanks for all the input guys.

I have had every year skidoo made from 95 on...the 2011/12s were a handful for even a experienced rider like myself. If you can up the budget just slightly Id look for a clean 2014 163X, great sled and everything that year clicked...and I bet u can find a clean one for 5 grand no problem. Spending the extra grand now will save u later, trust me on this!!
