My only issue with polaris oil is that it is made to polaris specs, but it is built by the lowest bidder. I'm thinking the aftermarket oils my be of better quality.

Amsoil is what we run in our sleds, we've been running it for years with no issues. I run the Amsoil Dominator. I also run it in my KTM two-stroke. I highly reccomend it

Personally I'd say go with the Spectro line of products. I run it in my 09 summit 800 and 05 honda 450r. Never had issues ever. When people say warranty is void if you use aftermarket oil that is completely NOT true. That's just the dealer trying to scare you and sell you their own brand of oil! SPECTRO is completely warranty approved for ALL SKI-DOO, ARCTIC CAT, POLARIS and YAMAHA models. They offer a straight mineral, a semi-blend and a full synthetic in two stroke mixes as well as many other numerous products. It is great and does not cost as much as OEM. I am a dealer for Spectro and I believe in using what you sell.If you are interested to find out more feel free to message me and i'l give you my number. Thanks.

I have always been a factory oil, for a factory machine.
After I have modded it, then fair game for the competitors oils.
But even at that, I have owned my Banshee since 95 and she's modded for the dunes in the states. I have ran through her; Gear Lube, HP4, Amsoil, Spectro, Trinity racing oil. But at the end of the day........ She runs the best with YamalubeR mix, and yammy tranny oil. but this is jmho

I run the Shell SnowUltra full synthetic. It's about $35 for 5L when on sale at Canadian Tire. Had no issues with it, meets/exceeds all the specs and standards for two-stroke oil, lower smoke than the skidoo full synthetic too.

I use spectro in all of my toys, and have had no issues yet. Their synthetic 2 stroke oil in my sled, their engine oil my quad and boat.

It boils down to what you feel is the best oil in your mind and your wallet. As long as you use the proper oil for the right application you should be fine. Never cheap out in my mind and my opinion, oil is cheap in the grand sceme of things.

My recommendation is that you use oil. Synthetic 2 stroke oil, and not . You should be good.
