which 2014 m8000 belt?

I recently bought an 14 m8000 limited. I need a spare belt. What belt is everybody running? Oem? Aftermarket? Thanks

I run arctic cat 084 belt, its the kevlar one, expensive but its the best belt

Gates carbon or the 083 cat belt. The 084 is way overpriced. I've been using the Gates for the past 3 years with great success

I run the same 084. Never had a problem.

Most of our customers run the 0627-084, that said, an -083 should get you out of a bind.

Regardless of what you choose, a well broken in spare belt will serve you much better than a brand new spare.

I run the 084 in both machines, over 1200kms so far on each belt and still like new. I got 600km outta my first 083 before she blew, but deflection and alignment was way outta wack from factory so surprised i got that long outta it on a '12.

I sucked it up and got a 4 pack of 084 belts from Country-Cat in the states awhile back when the dollar was better so still have 2 spares on hand.

083 runs more consistent rpm compared to the 084 but it doesn't last as long. Ps we have a cat only section for the types of posts

ive been running the 083 belt for a year now and no issues (alot cheaper belt) ive also ran the dayco xtx belts as they come with a 1 year warranty

Dayco xtx 5046 is on mine waiting to be broke in. Ran Dayco on my 200hp m1000, didn't blow a belt or ever use the 1 Year warranty, so will try on the m8 now
