I am putting in a riser block on my o8 renegade, and removed the instrument cluster (unplugged the three main ones out of the harness and i see this bottom one in the pictures hanging there it looks clean so it must have been plugged in.
I cant see where it goes anyways can someone tell me.

there is a plug that is not used that hangs there, it is for accessories such as heated riser bag or visor. can't remember if it was a male or female end tho

I saw that plug as well when I was installing my HID's. I thought it might be an extra plug in for the premium gauge package or something.

That plug is for the add on water temperature module that you can buy from BRP. It turns the everest fuel gauge into a temp gauge. Not sure where it shows up on the X model.

I'm thikin its whre I'm going to get the power for the nitrous button this weekend:d:d

That's probably not the best idea since that's a digital line that goes into the module and back out to the screen. There's likely only 5V running through that plug. There are two accessory plugs on XP's one is up under the dash, the second is on the right hand side of the motor just above the recoil. They are typically rectangular plugs that are taped back on themselves. I believe wire colors are red/yellow and black.

there is a 2 prong wire (red/black) that you can use for the nitrous. I think it was origionally for the heated helmet visor. It is right around were the air box joins together between the carbs and upper assembly (clutch side). This is the one i used for my nitrous and the one that boondocker recommends.
