I've never seen a winter with so little snow up here, my driveway is an ice rink and I have maybe 2" of old snow on my yard. I've got a cabin about 2 hours north of where I live and it's not any better there, I could probably drive my truck to it and it's a mile from the nearest road. Oh and it's almost 50 degrees here today, don't think we'll see any snow for a while either according to our forecast. But this will be good for our wildlife, especially the moose and sheep, wolves might have a tough time as well since their prey can easily outrun them with so little snow on the ground to slow them down. Gotta take the good with the bad I guess.

Mega snow in the Enchanted range for as far as you can see... no one has attempted too head in past the tower...

A person can jump the 3 ranges too get into the massive meadow on the 4th...

60 + miles of untouched running both sides...

Spring like conditions this year,,, most folks don't head back there till late march/ early April...

The range might see 7 or 10 folks at most

The second climb is challenging with aspirated,,, lots of boost to get past the 3rd and 4th wall...

Only a handful of riders will ever make it back their in ones life time...

A safer bet is the far side of 51...

Pack snow shoes and be prepared too spend a few nights getting in and out...

Both are 40 miles from the staging-area ,,, 80 ish miles too the closest Hamlet (s)

No one is going because its too far off grid...

Fuel,,, time and money make it happen...

There is snow in them there mountains

Heard from an older couple I know that were supposed to go to West Yellowstone that there is very low snow there right now but to be honest it hasn’t been good there for a few years now. Used to go there every winter but been stung to many times.

This is the worst I have seen the snow conditions this far into the season in the 30+ years I have lived here, the last 4-5 years have been good to us so I guess we were due.

Not sure if you watch the clouds in the sky much. I’m curious
Do you have nonstop planes flying around turning the sky silver also ? I swear in Alberta this year our skies will get mistaken for a Kelowna winter.

Not all that much but do on occasion. I work on and live near an Air Force base so I do see lots of planes flying around but nothing unusual about it.

I had thought I saw Ashley Chaffin post some awesome snow where she is located. Can’t exactly remember where she lives in Alaska. She told me she would tour me around if I ever made it up there and I told her you better bring your Dad so I can keep up. Haha

She lives in Valdez which is south of where I live, they usually get epic snowfall every year and a lot of riders travel from my area to there, they hold a hill climb race there in the spring as well.
