Where to stay in Valemount?

Hey Guys.

Were supposed to be headed to Revy in the middle of Feb. With their recent rain they've had were going to switch up to Valemount. Im not familiar with Valemount at all. Which areas are good riding? Is there anywhere we can stay where we can sled directly from where were staying, rather than having to trailer every day?

If not, where would you recommend staying? I would prefer a cabinish place where all 4 of us can stay, rather than a couple hotel rooms.

I suggest you get in contact with Curtis at varda. Give him a shout at the office he can steer you in the right direction for riding areas and what have you. He best hotel in town is the best western but an even better location is legacy vacation rental. It's a rental cabin that will take your whole group and its very nice right in town. That or the summit river lodge.

I suggest checking out Allan creek it's one of my favourites 35 km from town. You can access west ridge riding area from town but it is illegal to ride in the ditch but the staging area is only 2km from town.
