Where to ride near Red Deer?

Hey, new to the site. I just got a dirt bike a few weeks ago (it was cheap cause it's winter!) and I'm wondering where abouts close to the Red Deer area can I ride? Is there anywhere within 20 minutes of the city or do I have to head out along that david thompson highway closer to Rocky Mountain House?

I would like to join you but the last time i was there the ice wasn't very good a guy went through the ice right at the staging area wish you the best we will probbliy go to gull lake

Nobody fell through the ice.

There is a track in Alex - ride in summer
There is also a track west of Rocky Mtn House
Lots of riding areas west of Caroline or south of burntstick lake 6KM and then west.

No fall throughs.It was a decent ride about 90 k both ways.Lots of places to play in just off the river

probably east of the 2A bridge i bet the ice is always thin east
west is fine
