I would like to keep up on open areas to ride(If any) as the riding season gets closer. I'm planning on doing day trips from edmonton, single tracking with the boy. With the communist closures of the back country, camping is out.Any input as things change would be appreciated and if the Mods could pin this at the top(or what ever you call it) we could continue to share areas that are open that people know about so we can still get our families out and do what we enjoy to do.Areas off the top of my head that may remain open due to the map Stanger Hills,Cougar Patch,Red Water,Vega.I know municipalities will close even tho the map says they don't have too,but I really hope their will be some places open. Thanks for sharing in advance.

with the thought of a fine in the neighborhood of $100,000, getting caught would not be worth it.

I don't think places like Xtreme raceways will be open I know the track BUMP north of Edmonton won't be open as they are considered a non essental business just like golf. I hate to say it but if don't have access to private land I don't think you will be riding any time soon.

Oh a guy in another thread on here said Bruderhiem is closed, like tiger666 had mentioned in the original post it would be nice if there was more clear and 100% correct info thread to go off of.

there's more clarity coming out this afternoon, everyone reads "OHV BAN" and assumes its every where, let the details come out then we can figure it all out.

Well, BC has closed down riding in the east kootenays, BUT, it’s only a 115$ fine for riding, so you could just consider it a trail fee... IMG_3992.JPG

OHV ban has been lifted as of today. Fireban remains in place. OHV bans can be implemented by municipalities and regions as conditions are favorable for issues.
Why is Alberta wildfires still reporting OHV bans? Not updated yet?
