Where to get warehouse pallet racking????

Anyone know where to find the heavy duty racking that you see in warehouses? I have a long wall on the south side of the acreage shop that I would like to find some for. I wouldn't mind being able to store sleds on it over the summer and cleanup the junk lying around my shop. Looking for used stuff for cheap as my current renter doesn't pay very well - or at all for that matter - Gerald when is 'After Shock' leaving the premises?????

Anyone else got any advice or stories about sprucing up the garage or shop???

'Haggis'..... There is a place on the west end. I bought new stuff about 10 yrs ago. They had a ton of used stuff. I forget the name of the place, But will get the name in in the morning from a guy at work. I will post then if need be.

Look in the yellow pages under "material handling". I have bought this stuff a few times before for a place I used to work for. Quite a few places carry used stuff, and the price varies **alot** between them. My suggestion, call them all - then decide.

Last time I got some for what I thought was a fair price was from Wamarc Industries but that was years ago. I would think pricing for any of them would depend on what they had on hand at the time (if they thought they had too much, too little).

I am after those racks too and got my hands on one used set but would like to expand, what is the best way to get a sled up top in my residential garage?? am i stuck loading up the bobcat and bringing it home but i am not sure if i would have enough clearance to get all the arms and sled sitting on a pallet to the top???

I just went through this for my shop and it shocked the crap out of me .. That riggin is crazy dena ros new ...But look around and it will be there for cheap. It took me about 2 months to find racking 24 ft long with two shelves $600.00. Ok I'm Scotch

All the sugggestions are fine. One thing to consider while you are building those racks. Are you using the space effectively? You might want to look at optimization tools. If you are shipping stuff as well this is even more important.
