As the title states, I have been trying to find warm boots for my girls ( size 2 and 4) I havent found anything decent for kids. It seems that the manufacturers just put cheap liners in kids boots, and the girls feet get soaked/cold quickly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I wear a ladies' size 6, and a 3.5 or 4 in kid's footwear. I wear kid's gear a lot, but have to make sure that it is made to the same standards as the adult stuff... Most of it isn't, especially the sled gear... There's not much for kids, or women. Skidoo and HMK both make snowmobile boots small enough to fit me, I think Fox has a new snowmobile line as well.

I have had the same problem........I ended up buying a size or two bigger and cutting out a felt liner for the bottom and going too MEC or totem and getting kids size* work socks /wool socks. as the outer sock.....this works not too bad. that outdoor store in south common had some kids boots with pull out liners that seemed to look not too bad the bottom would still need a felt insert though. Hope you get something that works.

At Mark's you can buy Below Zero boots for kids, really well made. For myself I prefer Sorel's. I'm not sure if they sell kids Sorrel's.

HMK's last year's boots fit really tiny also. You might want to check Ebay and see if you can find some in a size 5. I tried them on at the Edmonton snow show, and they were too small for me. I would say, fit like a kid's size 3.Good quality too.

Sorel or Kamik work well, make sure they are not wearing cotton socks. Buy them merino wool socks and use toe warmers when it gets -20.

Thanks for all the input, I have the girls in the technical ski socks so they are thick and warm. I'm going to take them boot shopping tomorrow, armed with the info provided, so we'll see how it goes. :)
Thanks again.
