Where to Buy a Stator

the stator went on my 2008 m8 and they want $1000 just for the stator i dont mind spending the money but if i can get it cheaper it would be nice.
anyone know where a guy could get a new one

wow cats got you by the balls! does that include installation? doo stators are only 400


you could have yours rewound too..from rpm? i think? there is a guy on here who is a dealer. ill see if i can find it

I found a used one for $200,seemingly in good shape ,installed it and towards the end of my first ride on it ,the glue holding the magnets started letting go and chewed the crap out of everything,the artic cat dealer said it must have come off a mod sled as to him it was somewhat common on mods for the harmonics to deteriorate the glue,so $1600 for new stator and flywheel .it cost me more than neccessary to try to save some money...also it was a 50km tow out in the dark ,as well as rain..it was fun ,but would like to avoid fun like that...
