Where is a nice place to go for a Holiday?

Just got back from Jamaica. Stayed at the Riu in Ocho Rios,it was the best holiday i have had yet. The people and the food were great.

Dont go to Mexico. The Last time I was there i was robbed, forced to get naked and then i had to beg for my life at knife point.

What circumstances lead to this? We were wanting to do a trip this spring as well and are looking around for info.
