Riding in valemount this weekend had a great time
Decided to head to kelowna with truck and trailer to
meet my wife so we could ski for a couple days
any way get to little fort for a coffee cop comes over
asked the usual I gave him what he wanted tells me truck
is not legal, I'm driving a lifted f 650 rips the ch!t out of me
makes me rip the tint off right there , I asked him if he was
serious since I've driven the truck for 7 years 70 thousand km
on truck I also told him I've been stopped by cops , highway patrols
in Canada and Us but they only wanted to take pictures because
they loved the truck. He said he couldn't care less remove tint or else.
He impounded the trailer breakaway didn't work, he had tow truck haul
it away basically get the hell out of dodge with Alberta plates I could
go on but once a mean cop always a mean cop
At lease he didnt nail you for you HID headlights and 40" light bar. But look at the bright side, white oakleys are still legal ............. for now.

It seems you cannot get away with the same stuff in BC that you can in Alberta and parts of the States. It may be due to the fact that many of the main highways in BC are not divided, the roads wind through mountains with few long straight stretches and with considerable elevation change and often extreme weather through the mountains so maybe the cops in BC are just tired of picking up mutilated bodies off the highway and they actually enforce the laws that are meant to prevent serious accidents. I do not remember if I have ever been stopped in Alberta or the States for anything but speeding but once I enter BC I am almost always stopped at some point in time and they are checking for functioning lights, trailer brakes, sled deck overhangs, after market lights properly covered, proper tie downs on trailers and do not forget in BC, unlike Alberta, if you are considerably over the speed limit (not sure what the exact number of km. over) they impound everything and you and your family are riding the Greyhound home. What I have learned from this is that when you go into BC you need to have your poop together and I do not have a problem with that as it could save my life someday.

LOL, typical Alberta drivers.
They were stupid enough to call to police, I couldn't see any damage to their vehicles.

Ok folks.
A Moderator I'm asking that you back off this gentleman.
It's clear how most Peeps feel about this incident. Now we are flogging a dead horse.
Laws are Laws, none is appreciate when "we" get tagged for an infraction. Plus I do appreciate how he feels having his trailer grounded when he could be sledding.

Cheerz.

Sent from my phone ---- is anyone listening ?

Nothing wrong with tinted windows. Why don't they go stop somebody that blows their STOPs, to me that seems a little more dangerous than tinted windows. They have training and guns if there's a problem.
