Wheel Torque

Can't seem to find my manual and Google has given me anything from 30ft/lbs (seems light) to 120ft/lbs (seems high)

Anyone know what they should be?

Measure the diameter of the stud. If you have a tap and die set use a thread gauge to find a thread pitch. Likely a metric stud I believe. I can tell ya.

it would depend on the rims steel or aluminum my manuel for my 800 razor is 29 for steel and 80 for aluminum

I have looked at 3 different books for the same machine and got this from the 2013 service manual

Aluminum Wheels(Cast)
Lug Nut
#1 30 ft-lbs + 90° (1/4 turn)

Steel Wheels
(Black / Camo)
Flange Nut
#2 27 ft-lbs (37 Nm)

Steel wheels so I'm guessing 27ft/lbs.......

They weren't on there very tight when I took them off. Kinda surprised me actually.

3/8 ratchet nice and tight. Probably be around 75. Then you know you can get them off with a ratchet if ya need to.

Torqued to 33 with the 24" wrench my buddy had so I'm guessing probably more with that arm length.

Kids packed the cooler already and heading out for a family ride. See how far the snow let's us get...

My 900 with aluminum rims is 120ftlbs. A buddy only did 80 and lost his wheel on the first ride out, and all the other nuts were loose. Go 120 unless you have steel rims

Rzr has smaller studs compared to the ranger, so the ranger is higher.
