First off my condolences to the family's of the fallen. I'm outraged by today's news about the cowardly act in Ottawa. I actually sang O Canada at work. Then realized we offend the Muslims when we sing it cause of the reference to god in our little song. I love my country. True north strong and free!! As politicians battle for (minority) votes they can sell off our freedoms on piece at a time. Justin Trudeau is one of them. So upsetting. I never really followed politics when I was younger and I'm not sure where things changed but it's time for a big swing in thinking. These men were known. Kept here for there radical beliefs. Passports taken away. And Others know them. They had friends. I will say it again.

I'm the same way every Sept 11th John. Everytime I see the towers go down I want to join the armed forces. My wife said I was consumed with Bin Laden when he was on the run. That fawker cost me more money that is supposed to be retirement income than I care to admit. Its time we started to take back our lives and these sheet heads are standing in our way.
I feel the same way I'm consumed by this religion I hate it so much but can't do anything. But I want to for our kids and there kids I've took my stand before and got in trouble with the police lol long storey.

Alright, I have to step in here. I understand the anger and hate, believe me I am more than pissed at these isis pieces of shiet for their cowardly acts BUT you have to remember we're not all terrorists. When I say all I mean brown people, I myself am a proud Sikh Canadian.
After 9/11 there was a lot of hate towards Sikhs, which was uncalled for as we are not F*CKIN muslims. These terrorists came from a complete different country, we may look similar to the untrained eye but our beliefs are waaaayy different. In short Sikhs believe in equality and everyone has the right to believe and practice whatever they want, as long as no harm comes to others. I am not a baptized Sikh but thats the jist of what we are all about.
Anywho, I am not trying to start a fight just get my word in.

I see where you are going with this. You are going to have a tough future here in Canada. The more we get hit with these coward attacks by Islam extremists the more dirty looks you're gonna get while walking down the street in a small town rural Alberta. People are funny that way. They like to paint all Muslims with the same brush. I use a paint roller myself.

I am against any group wanting to shove their views or laws down my throat. This also includes helmet laws. Canada is turning into not so nice of a place when does it stop. gdhillion the people i am concerned with is the ones that will not mix in with canadians and hate us, why come here if you hate us. You are one here doing a canadian sport, and mixing in with canadians. Even a mexican could tell your a canadian.

I can tell the difference between 'brown' people quite easily and it is certainly unfortunate for you to be lumped in with muslims.
That said I have issues with the way many Sikhs treat Canadian culture as well. Usually by the second or third generation they have adopted Canada pretty well but earlier generations can have some very questionable ethics that fly in the face and take advantage of Canadian culture.
