So, what's everyone's opinion on which sled is working the best? I am real impressed with the new 800R's climbing abilities. But I also heard of quite a few not making it back to the trucks, going down with ECM issues, or crankseal issues last weekend. I saw an RT 1000 climb a long, STEEP hill that was really a sic climb. I also saw an M8 that just seemed to slowly keep on climbing long after I thought it was gonna hafta turn out. I watched a couple of M1000's pull numerous lengths on a whole pack of other sleds across a meadow of DEEP pow, very impressive power on display there. I haven't got to see a Dragon in action, or an M1000 that was into any kind of serious climb.:feedback:

What Works Best??

Shredder, That Is An Open Ended Question. Are You Thinkin' 'bout A New Sled, Or Just Looking? It All Depends What You Are Looking For: Boondocking, Climbing, Highmarking, Sidehilling Etc. Right? For Pure Point And Shoot, If Moneys Not An Object, Nothing Touches The Yammy Turbos. If Stock Climbing/highmarking, Can't Beat The Rt1000, Or Even A Well Set-up 800r Or Xrs. Read Lots About The Cats, And They're Doing Okay, I Heard Of A Polaris Dragon In Mcbride, That Was Giving All The Fits..... I Like The "point And Shoot" Challenge, Mysel, But Couldn't Afford The Turbo, So I Bought A Little Rt1000 Highmark 162" And Love The Sled So Far: Great Ride, Smooth, Unlimited Torque And Power(huge) And Has Ton's Of Storage Space(i Have The '06 With The Trunk And Added The Skidoo Tunnel Bag).

I'm thinkin' of a new one next year, so I'm really watchin' what's workin' this year. My Escape still works real good, but I'm also using my sled some at work now. So my next one is just getting a stinger, the clutching dialed in, and left stock other than that. I'm 6' 220lbs so I'm not going any smaller than an 800.:)
