What's With The Huge Hate-On For Nickelback?

It's even in the news how much people, even Canadians, hate Nickelback...I almost feel bad for liking their music. IMO there are A LOT worse bands out there. Hey, even Amy Winehouse, whose music was nothing less than revolting, doesn't seem to have the Hate Follwers Nickelback does. What am I missing?

I think that's a lot of it. Plus maybe it's just me, but most of their songs sound almost the same. A few songs are ok, but sooooo overplayed.

I used to like nickleback when they first hit the big leagues but now as mentioned there newest song sounds like there first....they suck now. Washed up combine pilots. Stick a fork in them...their done.

A lot of it is because they make talentless generic radio music about partying, they also sound identical to their associated bands (theory of a deadman, default) we jokingly call them theory of a nickelfault. Now if this was all then meh but they take themselves way too seriously as 'artists'. They have a few songs I like to drink/party to though.

I like them, Im no music critic, I just listen to songs and either like them or dont, and I like allot of Nickelback songs.

Funny thing is, its cool to say you dont like them, but they sure as hell sell allot of albums.

Two Nickelback songs are the same


Two songs overlapped and played together. This is part of the reason I don`t like nickelback. Someone needs to let them know there are more than 4 chords on this planet
