My 17 axys I rode 1/2 season was so down on power that 50cc extra will still leave it lacking. It's great that Polaris put out a new motor but a cat doo killer it won't be.

For all you Cat guys out there... 2020 might be your year for an 850. Don't want to end up being poopypants with a boring 800 anymore.

Supposedly Cat has a new more aggressive tune on the 2019 motors to up the HP so it might not be much difference between all the motors. Of course they will still have the marketing issue of ‘only’ an 800.

Doubt they could have another new motor out in that short a time, even with Textron money behind them.

Why is that? The season has been one for the record books as per DEEEEEP powder days. The 2018 owners have been on a great sled for this season.I bought a new 2017 this past September at a great price and love it.

Old engines

Doo etec 800 - 799.5cc 82mm x 75.7mm

Turbo right off the start, almost zero lag on the 174 will be a killer for sure.. Then call your doo buddy's up and play cat and mouse with them
