I'll relate to you some real world experience on why coats are not being done up......
I am a guy who has a large neck....when I do up my coat and then pull the cinch strap on my helmet tight, there is very little room for any air movement in the chin area of my helmet...add a balaclava and its worse.....Result? Fogged up googles, lack of movement, etc.
So, I like to leave my coat un-zipped just a bit to minimize the bulk near the chin.......Result?...., better neck movement, goggles stay relatively unfogged due to air movement but having an open neck in the wind is not good.....risk of frostbite, etc.
So, this Nekkr actually makes sense to a guy like me. I should be able to leave my coat open a bit to allow better movement, better air flow through the chin area, hopefully no frost bite
lol.......I actually ordered one yesterday after I saw your thread. Mine won't be a flashy bright color...just black like my helmet and jacket.
And hey, if it doesn't work, then I'll just take it off.....
