Conservation Officers, Border Patrol, Bylaw officers, mall cops. They are all the same. Couldn't make it with the RCMP or a city detachment and over compensate for there obvious shortcomings.

sucks that it happened, I've never had a bad experience with CO's in Alberta. well, when I wasn't doing something wrong anyways. but they were still polite when writing the tickets...lol

I looked it up last year for BC. There is no minimum age to pilot a snowmobile. Children 15 and under require direct adult supervision if I recall correctly.

my boys started at 3 on Kittys cats, then to Elans and then Polaris 340 TX. then Yamaha SRXs by the time they were 10. they are better sledders today than most adults who start riding as a adult. I cringe watching local New RCMP members riding there new Polaris sleds, no training what so ever till they got here.my Grand daughter started with kitty cat, then Mini Z 120, now 550 Polaris.and shes 6? so far on seat ahead of my son,but she will be keeping up to Opa real soon.lol.

After a kitty kat then what? Manufactures quit making the tundras and bravos. I wish it was against the law to stick your nose in other peoples business for any reason.

I had to look twice when I saw this....I posted it sooooo long ago I didn't even remember posting it! Now that I re-read the article again I remember this happening here in PG now. I think the CO's and MOE's have been too busy patrolling the Cariboo closures this season to even worry about this petty stuff.

I know the people involved in this and lets just say "Mike" was one lucky fellow. If I remember correctly "Mike" spent some time behind a desk and registered for some further training.
