2012 Summit etec 800 154" x 2.5" track no estart 500km seems to be in awesome shape. Don't want to insult the guy but still want a good deal.

IMHO, that would be an insult but he may take the time to drag you up a little higher. Low kms, must be one year warranty remaining, I'd start in the range around $10,500 due to the low kms..........like I said, IMHO.....

10,500 wouldnt be unthinkable thats forsure. id still offer 9500$ for a 2year old sled with the older chassis design. He might say no, but I know for a fact they can be had that cheap with that low of km's and if im buying used Im looking for a real good deal. JMO

I would show up with cash in hand and go from there .
Talking and emailing offers is a waste of time IMO if you want something.
$9500 is a offer and for a two year old sled that isn't a XM I think it is fair .
Someone standing with cash in hand making a offer is a lot different than a phone call or email
IMO.

What is he asking for it? From my experience I find that people tend to mark it up $1000 from what they'll actually take. That said, $9500 to $10,000 seems like a reasonable offer.

I think my buddies getting it sorry dude. There might be another one up for grabs for 8500$. He had a 2012freeride for sale on S&M last year for 8000$ with no takers Any hoo ill let you know, but talk to rental companies they sell stuff cheap some times.

There is the same sled listed on Kijiji now for $9K and it comes with a bunch of other stuff as well (mileage is slightly higher) and warranty until 2015.

Unfortunately for 2012 owners with the release of the xm the xp chassis sleds took a hit in resale.

Good buy! If I where you I would keep the avi stuff just incase someone your riding with forgets there's. You never know when you might need it.
