2015 Freeride 800 137x1.75 with 5150 km. Does the mileage indicate the sled is going to be worn out and I should keep looking, or is it good to go? Anything I should look for on the sled? He is asking $8000 - is that reasonable or are better deals to be found?

Just sold my 16 freeride with a brand new engine in it on warranty for 7 it had 6700kms on the sled. Mine was also a 154 3inch track, with the clutches redone and new belts and freshly revalve shocks, with a heck of a lot of aftermarket parts. I'd say this guys a dreamer.

5k is the mark for rebuild i would say because its a freeride model it is certainly more valuable than the other models. however 6500 is max i would pay expecting to have to freshen up the top end. i sold my 2016 freeride with 2500km for 9000 so he is high for sure.

Shocks probably haven’t been rebuild , a arm bushings and all suspension bushings will be getting loose , clutch components probably all wore and so on.
Small items but all add up .

OK thanks for all the replies, I'll have to see if he is willing to go lower. The sled is in Yellowknife and unfortunately probably even used sleds go for a premium here as there is just no selection.

OK the freeride was a no go. I'm looking at this one now. Here's what he says:

2017 Ski Doo backcountry 600 etec 146" track with electric start
Sled has only 1400km and is in mint condition besides small crack on side panel.
Comes with ggb mountain can, (still have stock can) ski doo cover and jerry can.

He's asking $10,600. Thoughts? TIA

I'm looking for a 146 x 2" or better yet a 137 x 2". I'm in Yellowknife and anything longer takes the fun out of it for me. The riding here ranges from 3' of powder on a lake edge or in the bush to hardpack trails and lakes. Right now I'm just looking in town and theres not a lot of choices, thus first looking at a freeride and now a renegade. But if someone in Edmonton area has the right sled for the right price I'd think about making a trip down.
