Every day going to and from work I see the county fire truck still putting out hot spots. Still see the water trucks filling up. Best idea would be to respect the hard working people and remain out of the way

We don't ride at Bruderheim but I am with Bogger on this one. People need to stay away from there until everything is green again. Show some respect for our sport Mat and the environment and the hard working firefighters.

there's other places to ride, leave bruderheim alone please or we'll never be allowed to ride there again.doesn't it occur to you that a spinning tire might disturb those smoldering embers and start it up again and maybe this time not eveybodys homes are saved or possibly someone gets hurt, ie a firefighter

You guys are absolutely right.....even if it is not "LEGALLY" closed to ATVs etc...know this....it will take yrs for that area to be healthy again and to go in there just "BECAUSE YOU CAN" will make it harder to regrow...

Not to mention...THE LIVES YOU PUT IN JEAPRODY BY POSSIBLY RESTARTING THE FIRES ....

Especially the hard working firefighters that are out there day and night to put out the hot spots how many of them do you want to kill!!!....or the families that are still on the fence as to whether they are truely safe or not...

Do not "ASSume" all is fine to go back in and play...use your freaken head....GIVE IT A REST!!!!

I agree 100%, people get off your self absorbed egos and arrogance and think of other people and areas that maybe lost to other riders due to your arrogance. There are other areas that you can goto without ruining an area that is already under the environmentalist watch.

I haven't seen Mat around, hopefully he got the message and be less selfish and more respectfull in the future about our green spaces and the trouble we face as a quadding community in the eyes of the general public. We must all set a good example.

you will be surprised how quickly most things bounce back and turn green again.

some trees will be dead for ever, some will be alive and kicking though. what should be done is in the heavily burned areas the trees should be removed and replanted to speed up things.

things always look worse than they are right off the bat but my experiences with burned areas are that alot of growth can happen in that area if the fire wasn't too big and burns all the nutrients out of the soil.

from the picks i see it could have been much worse.
