Hello, new on here, has everyone I have a 97 summit with the dual pin throttle control and was wondering if anyone has installed a LH throttle on one of these, and which brand, how did it work? Or do I have to change to single pull throttle control, does anyone have one that would work for me be it throttle control that would work with what I have, or a different control that would work better? thanks guys

Heres a for the heck of it pic of my sled so you all can see. Thanks, Darren

I was going to install one on my sled this winter but most people that I've talked to had nothing good to say about them. In fact most of them talked about mishaps that happened with them. I switched to a single action setup and couldn't be happier.

I would like to try one and am looking for someone who has run one on this type of sled or with this type of throttle assembly, and the brand they ran. I know alot of people say you don`t need one but theres alot of things people think you don`t need. and mishaps I have heard about them like keeping the throttle wide open, thats what the tether is made or at least the skidoo has one for and I wear mine, today out riding in Elk River ID I was climbing and sidehilling across a good slope and had to get off the throttle and it turned me out unexpectidly and tipped me off the sled and down the hill it went, straight and didn`t roll, went to the bottom and stopped, I beleive if the motor was still running it would of went farther into the trees I want a LH throttle for sharp tight turn arounds and not necesarily for sidehilling now. still need to fine tune my sidehilling ability.

Thanks, Darren
