I find myself frequently sitting on location waiting on rigs or hotshots or anything related to the industry. When my time would be much better spent sledding or quading!

So I'm curious what things wouldn't you miss about working out here if you ... Oh I dunno... Won the lottery?

I'm gonna start with I wouldn't miss watching the rig pound casing in for 12 hrs.

I wont' miss living out of a suitcase, saying Happy Birthday to my kids from a compressor deck, driving, flying and having to take those dumb azz safety orientations over and over again.

I wouldn't miss flying two hours to stay in a piece of chit camp to stay there for two weeks missing all the stuff the kids are doing at home. I have said it every winter this is my last last winter but this winter is going to be.

funny, I think the exact thing about Alberta. As for making money in BC, not sure where that myth comes from either. Most of my friends who live here do very well. Anyway, I guess to each his own.

Honestly it's been a good life. Always enjoyed my job and most of the people around me. It is taking a down ward spiral now with a new work force generation. You really have to bite your lip and put your hands in your pockets. Be a terrible shame to hurt someones feelings.....

All of the political bull, There is no way that it should take 3 weeks to go through the process to chage a 1'' valve for example.
