Lmao test drove a 88 with 5 speed won't hold the speed limit in 5 yep JUNK Did buy a ranger with a 6 cyl it was good ,but first was a 64 comet wish I still had it.

me and my brother shared one... yes piece of junk (small, gutless, rattled, wierd stick shift) but that truck should have been ford's poster truck.... despite everything we tried we couldn't kill it!

had an 88 4 Cyl 5 speed Ranger on Propane.... was gutless, but other than spinning a rocker arm I never had an issue with the engine.... had the tranny do some funky stuff one new years.... and then it got into a fight with the rear of a school bus and died.

Bought my first truck when I was 12. It started as a stock ish '66 chev long box and turned into a low rider on bags with a 400hp 350. Shaved handles, gas tank, mirrors, one piece flip up front fenders, and a sideways opening tailgate, and new /custom interior. It was a sweet a$$ truck. Wish I still had it.
