Hey 'crazy_wheeler' .... Are them the green colored thermo/plus boots made in Holland, I think ???? That is what I had on when I messed up my leg..... I donot wear for sleddin any more !

Yup those would be the boots. Same ones that probably all your rig hands wear at work. I find they fit well into the foot wells easier than my baffins and good traction on the running boards.

I bought a pair of snowboarding boots last year, i'll see how they work this year, and like "shift" said, they might not fit on my running boards, but with the snow slips, snow eliminators and tapered holes in the running boards, i should have enough grip?

Alota peeps that ride KAKWA are wearing gum boots with liner + they have a draw string at the top. I can see some advantages, but would like to talk to em to get the straight goods
Do a lot of Hutterites ride up thataway?

Warm and dry are the words to describe the Klim Adrenaline boots, and unlike my "Ride" snow boarding boots I wore the have good traction on the sole of the boot. Most snowboard boots have a relitively smooth/flat bottom great for controll with your board, however not so great when you are standing on snow filled running boards. I would recomend the Klim boots, they keep my feet dry even when standing in a creek. Even on bad days you should be able to find something good to talk about.

For years now I have gone down to Wholesale Sports and bought a high end hunting boot. Great ankle support, waterproof to the knees{for those creek crossings gone bad},Totally breathable no stinky feet, warm to minus 75-100,great tread, super light, super tough.Hunters use them for walking miles in any terrain.

Bad things Very expensive, and camo exterior.

Maybe you should ask them in person.....no really, I'd like to see it F@(k F@(e

I posted this as an actual option cause I seen it. Who know's a million hutterites can't be wrong.

Of course they'd be easy to spot all in black with the ear flaps pulled down on their winter caps........... beards flowing in the wind.....:D:D:D

I know, there are a couple of guys here that wore those rubber boots all winter(All of them field operators). They have all moved over to those Dunlop rubber boots but at $180 a pair I'd just as soon buy klim boots....Of course if the company is buying......

These guys put on 5000 km plus per season. I assume they know what there doing. Takes a big man to step out of line and walk his own path.

As for me, I'm partial to the yammi boots
I gonna also assume they have a sense of humor as well and probably don't get bent out of shape when someone makes fun of their choice of footwear.
