If you only pull a small time of the year. Why have a big diesel truck banging around. I looked at them all and went to a new Chevy Silverado 1500 4wd with a 6.2l 403 hp and 420lbs torque. I pull a 24ft Cougar hoilday trailer 9300lbs. I also have a sled trailer instead of a deck. I just came back from camping this weekend going from Fort St. John B.C. to Hudson Hope and return. That road is hilly and windy I pulled the trailer and was at 19l/100km 14mpg. Most of the time its empty and gets 13.5l/100km. If you want a large diesel to impress your buddys go for it, Or go for the ride and economy of a gas.
