What suspension is good and why??

as i do my summer upgrades on my 2006 rev im looking to upgrade my suspension. both front and back could use a rebiuld but im also looking at the aftermarket view. i have herd a couple brands and options for what really works on the revs and was wondering what people are running and what they think about it. i'm not looking to buy a skid or anything but more or less shock set up. i have the x model so revalving is possible but want some better coils if that would be a route. for the rear anything thats better then what is on it, the suspension has gone soft looking for an idea.

i like to think of elan's more as mini boats then snowmobiles.. but thanks.
if anyone did a switch up on suspension on a rev on the other hand it would be awesome if you shed some ideas.

thanks jbb those are a little hefty on the price but are those what your running?
looking to spend under a grand.
