Buy two nice Nytros for the same price as a “blow ‘em up” special Etec and they will last 5x longer. Now bring a buddy!
Probably wont be friends any more if you make them ride a nitro

Granted I am a polaris guy. But I find them hard to ride, and they also look like a pain to work on. (Queue doos never break comments here lol )Low mile xm gets my vote. Parts are very easy to find for them used or new if you ever need.
That’s funny. My buddy ripped his ski off way way back in a zone. Deep snow. He was getting tired riding deep with one ski so I trade him sleds for a bit. I let him ride my nitro 300 horse. So like 10 mins later he stops and he wanted to ride his sled.Probably wont be friends any more if you make them ride a nitro
I will let him know about this.I have a 2016, Polaris 600 2 up with a 144 track you can have for $8500. It only has 120 miles on it.

He was like. How the hell do you ride that thing. Lol.
2018 woulda been a g4. So if its a 2018 xm, might not be legit. Haha
They didn’t have a low end model sport? They did that with xp and the ptec for a few years.
100% true, most reliable platform hands down. May be a little harder to ride than a poo or doo but i prefer reliability over a small amount of ease of ride. Clutches on all machines should be checked and serviced regularly, one of the most neglected parts.2014-2017 cat m most reliable sled Suzuki motor will do 10000km just inspect your clutch’s every 500k
I ride with a young guy who had a 2017,engine failed at 67 km full warranty complete drop in.At 2700 km same thing full warranty complete drop in,he was really impressed with belt life as he was on original belt.100% true, most reliable platform hands down. The 67k engine failure was manufacture defect for sure, suzuki engines are the most reliable sled engine ever built and very well known to be basically Bullitt proof. I ride with 5 other cats all from varying km from 3300km to 1500km 2020-2012 and all have been dead nuts reliable, no engine issue and one clutch failure at 2700km due to my buddies lack of maint (seized a roller). My 17 mountain cat has been turbo'd for the last 1000km and has been excellent. As far as sleds go, there are no more reliable than the 2014 to 17 cats or the 09-11 if you want the old style. Every manufacture has engine failure but cat has proven most reliable no question.
