What skid plate to buy - 2011 Summit X

Going with a skid plate this year.
Ski-Doo catalog shows an "Extreme" or a "Full Body".
Anyone use one and have an opinion to share?
(opinion to share about the skid plate that is...)

The full body gives you more protection than the extreme does Marley. The extreme plate was designed for guys that don't want snow and ice build up between the plate and the lower a arm. It however protects less. Hope that helps you out!

Thanks. Snow build up must be an issue if they make the extreme version to counteract that problem. The extreme covers more of the areas on the bulkhead though so you give up some A-Arm protection for more protection further back.

Extreme skid plate is probably better for the deep snow that we all seem to be always in search of...

Extreme, the other one holds way too much snow and then turns to ice. I've seen a couple rip off. Go with extreme for sure.

Also have the extreme on mine
heard of guys and the full body one icing up so bad they cant steer
