My favorite quote is "we are below invoice" and are not making anything on this sale.

Yes, this multimillion dollar building and staff of 30 operates without making $$$ on each sale.

I get that on every single deal, i've even had them try to show me it on the computer. My response is you can change the numbers however you want, we both know you will not sell any vehicles at a loss.

Thats a good price if its loaded right up. In or out of town dealer
Canmore Ford. Josh the manager sold it to me. He loves volume and works hard. I ordered it without power boards or fancy 20” wheels. It’s fully loaded other than that.

Good to hear. It was a factory order so it required waiting. I’m more of a buyer so the wait sucked. But I’m happy with the deal. My 17 super duty was awesome so I’m sure the 19 will be great too

We bought an Escape from a “Josh the manager” 5 yrs ago from Olds Ford, sounds like the same guy. He was great, no BS pricing, gives you 1 price and that’s it. Beat city prices by a good amount.

That is the same guy. He works for cam Clark ford group. He was at Carstairs ford for a while too. If you need a dodge or ford he’s the guy.

There definitely is not $20k to move off of MSRP. Someone also mentioned Costco, the Costco preferred pricing doesn't apply to the GM HD (2500 and 3500) trucks. I work in sales at a dealership in the CGY area if anyone needs details on the programs, PM me.

We buy RAM and have always got $20k off the sticker price. We go through the fleet program but it is for friends and family too so I am sure most people know someone. Chev/GMC never wanted to do much for us though when we inquired about a fleet price. Not sure about Ford.

They get a payout at the end of the year for every vehicle they sold. It the incentive for them to blow them out.

Chris, I don’t disagree with your statement, or that of others, regarding close to $20k off on the Dodges. You won’t see that on a Ford or a GM tho. And the poster was asking about a Chev product.

When Ford offers their huge discount, “empoyee pricing” they always crank the interest rate up to 5+%. Which works for them because few people buy vehicles with cash. With this being Ford credit they get their money one way or the other.

GM product you won’t see $20 off either but the nice thing is they are at least 0% at the moment on 60 and 72 months. If a person is the type that goes 84 and have a good credit rating the rate is still good. Just not 0%. This is what the original poster was looking for.

I got about $16k off the sticker last year for a 2018. MSRP $91.8k down to $76.1 for a Denali. I got it thru my employer who has an employee deal with GMC for $500 over cost. I verified the invoice price with my brother in law who works at a dealer in Sask. Best part was it was 0% for 72 months so I put next to nothing down. They financed it through RBC so they probably had to pay RBC a few thousand to take the loan at 0%. I though maybe I could get it cheaper paying cash but it was the same price as using the financing. They even included the add-ons in the 0%.

I agree with you but I assume both GM and Ford have a fleet program?? It would be interesting to see if anyone here has bought either from such a program and what discounts to expect. I know that when we bought 2 new full load diesel GMC's the sales manager did not let us talk to the fleet dept., telling is he could do just as well as them. I think I should have pushed way more.

I think major dealers have basically eliminated “deals” last couple I’ve bought their computer spits out a sheet that shows their pricing rank vs other stores take it or leave it. Have to get the manufacture discounts timed to get a good price.
