funny how things happen used to ride sleds that were heavy and under powered and could lift and dig them out now ride a sled that is 100 lbs lighter and has 50 more poneys and can't lift or dig the sled out i think it is the long travel and length of track that does it or it could be that i am getting old

kind of wishing i was a younger sledder,spent a lot of days riding on or with v maxs, xlts, thundercats,wildcats,powder specials,storm and ultras can't forget the powder extreme what a boat .not more than 4 inches of suspension on any of them,and 600lbs was light. i am sure these beasts contributed to a tired back. anyone of the newer sleds back in the mid 90s sure would have been nice.nowadays i can be found in the trees maybe a nasty creek ,making fresh tracks, not much on the open bowls anymore . made a trip to sicamous last year for the first time ,amazing snow and terrain.

A track lumberjack! Haha finding the deepest snow in the trees can also lead to some hairy exits.

I am the kind of chick the guys "don't mind" tagging along. Lol. I don't get stuck often enough to get yelled at, only attempt hairy situations every once in a blue moon which usually ends in my sled rolling down the hill and the group all trying to catch it and A LOT of comments about my throttle issues...to the bar just never seems to happen with me. When I'm at home watching vids I feel like I'm a superstar "I'm so trying that this year" when I get up the there I remember that I am Soooo not! But I love every minute I get to ride whether its ditch banging and trail riding at home having beers by a fire in the bush, or chasing my psycho husband around a mountain...so I guess I am a sledneck...even if its only at heart. Lol

Depends on the day, and the snow conditions. If it's a good powder day; when I go missing the crew always starts scanning the trees to see where I tried to Burandt thru;...... before I realized I was missing the sled, the ballz, and the talent to make it happen. Then they come get me....everytime. Thanx guys!! If it's a beautiful spring day, with rock hard hero snow, I never risk my sled; those are the days I just enjoy the sunshine and the company.
