I just bought 35 inch x 20 Toyo AT2 for my F350 and love them!! I had Toyo M/T on before and they had approx 85,000 km. The AT-2 came with a 80,000 km warranty with them as well in a 35 inch. Price was $2100 installed/taxes in plus I got an $80 rebate from Toyo.

There isn't an 80,000km tread life guarantee on the Xtreme sizes, but if you rotate them regularly...you will get that and then some!!

Made some calls today. No one has any stock on the toyo AT2 or know when they will get them. So due to pricing and availability I think I have narrowed it down to either the duratracs or mickey thompson atz. Both are 10 ply tires. Both are load range E. Duratracs are 3750lbs load capability and the mickey thompsons are 3195lbs.

Talk to Jared @ Castle Custom Trucks...I know he has one set of 35x12.5 R 20 AT2's sitting at his shop!

Hmmm.. The tire shop that sold them to me clearly stated that Toyo is offering 80,000 on this size which was a first for them. Sales guy was saying they are that confident on the tire by offering this warranty.

Unfortunately your dealer is misinformed:( If used like an LT tire...you will easily get that and then some. Unfortunately the perceived general use for the Xtreme sizes is more focussed to offroad.

An excerpt from Toyo's website:

[h=3]Industry Leading Mileage Warranty[/h]Significant improvement in tread wear over its predecessor. This increase in tread life is significant enough for Toyo Tires to offer an industry leading wear out warranty.
Mileage Warranty

  • 100,000 km warranty on P-metric sizes.
  • 80,000 km warranty on LT and Flotation sizes.*
Toyo tire is so confident that your customer will love the Open Country AT II tire that it comes with Toyo’s 30 day trial offer. *

* The Open Country A/T II Xtreme sizes are not eligible for the mileage warranty or 30 day trial offer. Among P‐Metric and Metric A/T tires. Mileage warranty will vary by tire type and is subject to exclusions.

I went with the duratracs this spring for my lifted duramax. I run them on my 6.0L gas job as well. I have over 100,000K on them and thats hauling sleds. They are pretty much done now and time for another set but rotate every oil change and they will last a Long time. As stated above with any tire tire pressure and rotate regularly is key. They are a great tire for the price. I have also had great success with the pro comp xtreme mud terrains on a diesel (80,000 KM) and the Toyo M/T's are a great tire as well but for the price of the duratracs you really can't go wrong. They work great in the mud and in my opinion out perform any of the other tires noted in the winter. I run mine year round with no issues. They do run fairly warm on long trips in the summer and get pretty soft when it's hot but no issues running them on a diesel.
