Ya the spring I took out is different than the other 3 I had.

One for Jason's kit , the one that came from my kit , and the one Jack gave me ( pink with almond dots )

The one from my kit has no dots just the doo part # 414-949-500 which is 160-350.

But the one I took out was less spring rate by pushing and is 1.5 inchs longer to boot.
Yes black with one pink dot and one purple dot.

Im not saying the sled doesnt havent clutching issues, but typically with clutching you either have it or you dont. I think what your seeing is heat fade. The 08 ran a 145 stat and at 150 the ecu starts to pull timing. Anything over 130 you are starting to lose hp period and with a 5 degree window for circulation that can get swallowed up in 100ft which is why it runs better after its sat and cooled for 20 min versus pull after pull. I have billet stat housing here through cr racing. We use a 120 cat stat which flows double a stock doo and keeps temps in optimum power range. They are 225.00 including ship/gst. Did you measure your primary like i mentioned in my first post? IMO dont waste your money on a bandaid jumper harness the engine is still running far to hot which is causing a hp loss, FIX the problem then tune from there. The raves are also a huge problem if they are still in stock form, the 3 one way check valves brp puts in line to the rave solenoids are garbage. They leak they stick and cause all kinds of inconsistant rave valve operation. Fix this oem problem and it will be a different sled all together.

Agreed his is 150.00 with no stat no shipping. Ours is 225.00 including shipping and stat.Plus gst of course. So you have have .010-.020" clearance between the moveable sheave and the belt with the belt pushed tight against the stationary?? Feel free to give me a call 780 986 6370 i would be more than happy to help you.

His comes without a stat ??

Says nothing about needing a stat too...

What's the point of buying a t stat housing and no stat. It's not like u can take the stat outa the stocker.

Huh. 10-20 tho. That's not what I found for a spec. Forget what it was.

Anything more than .010-.020 your missing out on a bunch of fun and your being really abusive to that poor old belt lol.
