What is this?

Decided to clean my primary today for the first time. When I opened up the primary I found this object in here. I have no idea what it is? The head of the clutch bolt fits in the hole of it and it's jambed tight in the bottom of the slide. Not sure if it's a piece off of the clutch or something that was left there during production?

Pic doesn't show on tapatalk but your description sounds like a balancing washer. Put in from factory to balance moveable sheave.

Yep that is a balancing washer.
