I use mercury ( boat engines ) brand of grease its very water resistant , its tithium based with teflon .

This is very important!!! Do not mix lithium based grease with a soap based grease, they react to each other. Had a customer do that and it seized everything up solid and I do mean solid. Know what grease you have been using before switching to anything else. The customer thought he would be doing the machine a favor by going over to synthetic grease. Did more harm than good..... Now if he would have cleaned all the old grease out first he would have been fine. A chart to help you.... The Skinny on Grease Compatibility
