what is a good place to find used sleds

lots of guys have had brand new sleds crater....no guarentees in life, all you can do is hedge your bets...

Compression test is quick and easy, took me 5 minutes yesterday to check mine, general condition, mileage and luck....

ya thats what im scared of is getting a sled riding if for a week and it just blowing up or it just fall apart

There's also knowing to judge the integrity of the seller which helps a ton. There were some red flags everytime I've gotten burnt but I chose to ignore said warning signs... Sometimes the best deal is to walk away even if you really wanted it to work out!

I'm not sure, The M8 800 is supposed to be 115-130 so it may be the same but I called T&T powersports to confirm 120 was good, My understanding is that both holes being equal is more important that the actual # one at 90 and the other at 120 is bad...

Any more then a 10% difference and you have a problem in the works!

I bought a 2008 skidoo summit as my first sled and it blew up at the end of season so I went to a 2013 XM

The 2008's had there issues belts blowing, crank bearings siezing but if the recalls were done it should be a good sled! U just never know with a 2 stroke! I think the M8 are probably your most reliable 2 stroke!!
