what is a good place to find used sleds

just wondering what people are using because kijiji and infomall is what I look at and their must be more places with sleds on them than just them well im looking for a crossfire 800 year from 07 to 11 , and 2,25 lug on track

personally I would sooner buy from the snowandmud classifieds because it is easier to track the usage and history of a sled based on the current owners previous posts. Also it is more personal, no one can guarentee a sled will not grenade at any given time but I would hope that people would be less willing to screw over a fellow S&M'er as opposed to some stranger on kijiji.

There are usually lots of used sleds for sale at the sled show as well.... walk the parking lot and people have them in the back of their trucks with info signs.

Plio's M8 would suit you just fine.

As would Boggers M8 both these sleds have seen plenty of ditch banging and have never let these boys down!

I have sold 5 sleds on S&M since 2008. Lots of action, lots of competition so prices are competitive, and generally speaking the guys are great to deal with and honest. I have heard of one situation with bad batteries.......just sayng!

kijiji is hit and miss I think. I just bought a sled off kijiji and the biggest reason I was OK with it was because the seller turned out to have mutual friends that could vouch for him and how well he took care of his stuff.
I definitely trust S&M more and sometimes there's an S&M courier service (members can be helpful if they're travelling to the same locations).

I also troll Castanet Classifieds for parts and sleds in the Okanagon BC area. Sometimes there's better prices further west.

Phone the dealers, some might still have some left over crossfire limiteds. I think I seen one listed In dons speeds parts website. And if you want a new m8 I believe some dealers have some leftover 2011's as well.

No offense fernie, but I sold a dragon can on here and shipped it and the guy never did pay me. I even pestered him a bit then just simply gave up... so imo it is still a risky business!
